FatKats Pizzeria & Restaurant is a locally owned restaurant that opened its doors in 2005. Maureen Steele and Kathy Lyons, two of the owners, live right here in Georgetown. Leslie Lyons, Kathy's brother, is the third business partner.

FatKats Pizzeria & Restaurant grew out of the owners longing to recapture the flavor that is missing from many chain restaurants. FatKats operates the "old school made from scratch way". At FatKats your taste buds will delight in the rediscovery of items prepared to order at your specifications. Our Award Winning Pizza's are made using our made from scratch dough and the best quality fresh ingredients. FatKats menu features one of a kind appetizers, fresh cut salads, oven roasted subs, baked pastas, and our very own homemade desserts. You will want to save room for the bread pudding with Kentucky bourbon sauce or the one of a kind Smores Pizza. You simply can't make a bad choice from our varied and extensive menu.

In our first three years of operation FatKats Pizzeria & Restaurant has twice been voted best pizza in a national contest sponsored by the leading publication Pizza Today Magazine. The Cowboy Extreme Pizza was voted the Best Pizza in 2006 and The Fresh Italian was voted Best Pizza in 2008.

While our primary goal is to always serve you the best tasting top quality food, the atmosphere remains casual and family friendly. Alcohol is available to enjoy with your meal yet we don't have a "bar feel". By the way we make a killer Margarita! Our dining room decorations are kid friendly and we have a huge game room. The 60" big screen t.v. adds to the fun on game day for all our sports fans!
